  • Sorry, its been forever and ever and ever.

So. My due date was yesterday.
    I'm still pregnant.
    But not for long!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow evening they're going to prep me for induction on Thursday morning.
I'M GOING TO MEET MY BABY GIRL DAY AFTER TOMORROW!

    I can't wait.

Sorry for being gone for so long.
With all the baby stuff going on and not having internet access for awhile, I got off track.
I will be posting pictures for all of my friends to see as soon as possible.
    She's going to be gorgeous.

  • If I said it was my birthday, would you believe me?

Half of the fancy sit down restaurants wouldn't believe me. Because I like free cake on other days than my birthday. So sue me.
    They might actually.. LOL

Anyways I'm 20 years old today.
Most would call me a young'n but to me 20 years old is OLD because I've never been 20 before.

I got slippers yesterday from my BD. Memory foam. I've known about them for a month, so there was no surprise, never the less I loooove the slippers. And I get Tuna Casserole [made by my mom] for supper and some cake and I got all sorts of birthday wishes on facebook and myspace and a text from my dad. I got two towels from my crazy great grandma the other day. Odd present for a 20 year old, but they're nice towels.

I'll get some money after the first of November.

Tomorrow is my crazy blood test that I have to wake up early for.
I hate blood tests but if it's good for my baby, I'll do it.

God I'm glad my birthday came before my Gestational Diabeets diagnosis.

  • My cable didn't actually get shut off.

I forgot to mention that. Its just a matter of time though. Damn sales people. All I wanted was the basic cable to begin with, but they were like "Oh we've got a deal going!" and so my cable bill skyrocketed, but I thought we could afford it, but it ends up we couldn't. Thus, now we just have basic.

My lady parts are hurting. I know that might be TMI but they are. I imagine my baby girl just kicking and scratching trying to get out. There's not very much room left in there and I'd imagine it'd be horrible if she were claustrophobic. Oh goodness. I'm thinking of going and getting a small McFlurry. Even though I really shouldn't have it. I swear I'm going to go into Diabetic Shock way before I even get my 3 hour gestational diabeets test. I don't want to hear anything about "oh you may not have it" like I did from my doctor. My mom had it during her pregnancies, I have a family history of type II diabeets, and I've been quite overweight for quite sometime.

Well, I'm off to do my Income Tax class.
I'mma do peoples taxes. I'm smart that way.

  • Seriously.

Rush Limbaugh going around saying that my dear Obama is faking his citizenship?
Ha. I mean, that doesn't even make any sense whatsoever.
1.His mom is a US citizen.
2.He was born on US soil.
    3.HE'S FRIGGIN AMERICAN!!

For my sanity's sake, please, PLEASE stop trying to say Obama is not American. Don't say hes African or Arab or whatever else. [Side note, I know McCain corrected crazy bad hair lady when she said he was an Arab, but that doesn't change the fact that his conservative base is still saying it. Also McCain, you did not, in fact, say that Obama was American. You said he was a "citizen."]  If anyone really paid attention to fact, they'd know better than to believe what freaks like Limbaugh and Co. say.

Don't be brainwashed by conservitave America.
I don't mind when people are Republican or Conservitave or whatever, just have something new to say for once instead of being clones, repeating word for word what the politicians tell you to believe. Have a little open thought, it is a free country and all.

On another note, my lady-parts have been hurting like crazy. Just sharp little pains in my cervical area. And my hips hurt constantly, I can't sleep through the night without getting a fit of the "itchy butt" as I prefer to call it, and I just want to have an energy drink. [I won't have one til I'm done breastfeeding, it can't be good for my little Alexis.]

P.S. Its my birthday next Tuesday.
Probably going to be the most uneventful day of my life.
Because I won't get any birthday money until the 3rd of November.
And I don't think my BD [Baby Daddy] is going to get me anything.

  • The Creepy Old Cable Man and Cloudy Cold Weather

Thus starts my list of things I hate most so far today.

The creepy old cable man came over today. I didn't know who it was at first. I just heard the doorbell ring. SO I hopped up and went to answer the door, and NO ONE WAS THERE! So I went back to bed. When we left, there was a "Sorry we missed you" thing hanging from our doorknob. I feel like leaving them one that says, "Sorry, I DO NOT want you to shut off my cable." Which he probably did. Which I didn't check. Bummer. I wouldn't have missed him though if he wouldn't have done a ding-dong dash or whatever kids these days call it.

Also. Its cold. And not sunny. It makes for a really depressing setting. I have the SAD. That on top of my pregnancy hormones will likely make my day end in tears. But so do a lot of things now-a-days so I'm used to it by now.

Oh by the way, I am 7 months pregnant. Maybe 8. I don't know, but I'm measuring a month too big. Also I might have the gestational diabeets. I go for my 3 hour glucose test thing on Wednesday. I'm not very looking forward to that for many reasons.
    1. The day before is my 20th birthday. I don't get to eat or drink anything past midnight. =[
    2. I have to wake up SUUUUUPER early.
    3. I have to drink that nasty flat orange soda flavored drink.
    4. I have to sit at the hospital for HOURS while they steal my blood out of my arm.

But I have to because I love my baby girl.
    Yes girl.
    Or so they say.

Did anyone happen to see last night where that guy was bashing Obama for visiting his critically ill grandma? I thought that was way not cool. I guess that guy must hate grandmas because everyone I know would take 2 days off of their job to go see their grandmother who may possibly be dying. I don't know, maybe we're all crazy and the right-wingers are the "sane" ones. NOT. I haven't really seen whats gone on today on account of my cable probably being shut off. I'll go check the headlines and if I'm outraged, I'll update.

If I don't type before then, I'll see ya tomorrow. I gots me some Bill Maher to watch tonight!
